Why Listen To Brad
There are a few reasons I think you will have success if you follow the advise Brad gives. For starters, he has a strong educational background.
The first step of Brad’s educational journey was to get his undergraduate degree in Applied Human Nutrition, which, by the way he passed with honors.
Before Brad wrote Eat Stop Eat he completed a graduate degree in nutritional sciences. The focus his degree was the use of short term fasting for weight loss.
Eat Stop Eat is the result of that Graduate Research Brad had done while in school at the University of Guelph, in Ontario, Canada.
But, education ins’t everything. I am sure you want to know a few more facts to see if this guy really knows his stuff.
Along with his strong educational background, Brad has over 8 years of experience working in the nutritional supplement industry specializing in clinical research management and new product development. Plus Brad has been a bodybuilding and fitness expert who has helped thousands of people achieve their dream body, and applied all the methods to himself as well.
A Radically Different Approach to Nutrition

Fasting For weight Loss
People have been fasting for thousands of years and for many different reasons. You can fast for just a few hours, a few days or even several weeks. But see why Brad uses 24 hour fasts in Eat Stop Eat’s Intermittent Fasting program.
Where It Began
Growing up in Burlington Ontario, a small suburb outside of Toronto Brad got hooked on muscle building at an early age. Back in the 80′s, as a little kid Brad was mesmerized seeing Lou Ferrigno as the The Incredible Hulk. From then on Brad has had a keen intrest in muscle building. While his friends were collecting and trading baseball cards, Brad was collecting issues of Muscle and Fitness and Flex Magazine. He was so into fitness and nutrition that at just 14 years old Brad had a subscription to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. By age 16 he was selling supplements to all the bodybuilders at the local supplement shop.
Brad started of his career as a Research Analyst with a tiny supplement company based in Toronto. Six years later Brad had moved up to Research & Development Manager and the then 40 person company was now one of the top supplement companies in the world.
The company’s growth had Brad travelling the world, attending major scientific conferences, and meeting with leading researchers in the field of muscle building and fat loss.
Sitting with top executives from multi-national food ingredient supply companies, Brad has seen the powerful effect that supplements can have on the world-wide economy.
Brad was meeting and talking with the bigest players in the scientific world of health and fitness. Along with that came unprecedented access to the world of professional Body Building and meeting with Mr. Olympia champions, dinner with Arnold Schwarzenegger and workouts with 400 pound strong men.
Brad left all that behind to hit the books again. Returning to university his plan was to study Leucine and Protein Synthesis, maybe design the ultimate diet and be done with it.
But then something happened…
I realized I did not know NEARLY as much as I thought I did about how the human body worked.
Swallowing his pride, a combination of a few happenstance, and some luck, Brad ended up focusing all of his attetion on the metabolic effects of short term fasting.
Long story made short…
I discovered that a number of things I believed to be true were in fact false, AND I discovered that much of what I thought to be false was actually true. Even after writing Eat Stop Eat, I’m still amazed at how many things we believe are ‘needed’ or ‘required’ to be healthy are actually NOT needed and even, in some cases, are actually unhealthy.
The result of this education comes in the form of his books…
- Eat Stop Eat
- How Much Protein
- The Adonis Effect
- Anabolic Again
Myths and Truths
Brad can show you the difference between the truth and bodybuilder myth because he knows the marketing and supplement company tricks. He’s been there, he’s had dinner with them, and done research for the big players. And, not only does he know what these myths are, but he also knows why these myths are still around.
- “Eating less will stop weight loss”
- “Eat more protein”
- “Eat six meals per day”
- “It’s nutrients, not calories that count”
- “It’s hormones”
Brad is a straight shooter, he will tell you that all those things listed are myths and exist because supplement marketers and smart, they know how to push products. In fact, they are so good that even well meaning fitness professional’s fall under their influence.
This is why you constantly see these myths being perpetuated…
and It’s why Brad can help you lose weight and build muscle in a way that is far simpler, and much more direct than most people. He knows what’s true and what’s marketing.
Brad has one goal…
to help you lose fat and gain muscle as simply as possible so you look your best and live your best as easily as possible. And this is exactly what he knows how to do.
